Give Hope

With the support of individuals like yourself Hawksbill Hope hires Gales Point locals, to walk the beaches to find and protect sea turtles, nest and eggs. When located, turtle nests are marked and a standard set of data recorded. Hawksbill Hope serves as the depository for the collected data.  Hawksbill Hope shares the data with scientist globally and makes it available for educational purposes.

Small donations will cover the cost of equipment including wire mesh for protecting nests, headlamps for turtle walking, tape measures, and data ledgers. Contributions to Hawksbill Hope Foundation also provide funding for daily wages and transportation for the local data collectors. 

Hawksbill Hope continues to seek grants and major contributions to fund satellite tagging of sea turtles.
